Weapon Gems #

Diamond or Opal are still the best to slot in all weapons, in all expeditions. More here

• The DoT’s status effect is based on the Runeglass casings element.
• (Surge for Electrified, Hex for Empowering, Burn for Igniting, Poison for Nature)
• Each of these can only be applied once per mob.
• A coordinate team should run three different types between their players, to ensure everyone benefits from the 8% (or more from scaling) DoT.

Best casing for each mob (with a Diamond or Opal slotted):

– Ancients: Runeglass of Electrified Opal

– Angry Earth: Runeglass of Ignited Opal

– Corrupted: Runeglass of Empowered Opal

– Lost: Runeglass of Arboreal Opal

Armour Gems #

For public runs, we recommend to continue using Cut Pristine Mutation-Specific gems. There is no reason to pay the price of runeglass casing for public runs.

For M10 farmers we recommend Runeglass of Punishing Onyx or Runeglass of Punishing Opal for your armour, to avoid changing gems weekly. however this setup makes you completely reliant on your healer. Do not attempt to run this in publics, unless you know the healer is good.

• Mutation-specific gems on your Jewellery.
• This setup makes you much more reliant on a good healer - you will die to bleeds, burns, etc unless you’re constantly being healed
• Tanks and Healers should stick to the original 58.1% elemental resistance setup

Crafting/Farming List #

Charged Sand #

You need 10x Charged Sand per 1x Runeglass Gem.

5x Sandstone Blocks + 1x Obsidian Sandpaper per 1x Charged Sand.

• Gather Sandstone Blocks all over Brimstone.
• 50x Sandstone Blocks per gem, 250x per gear-set (you cannot slot Runeglass Gems into jewellery, only armour)

Sulfur #

You need 4x Sulfur per 1x Runeglass Gem.

5x Sulfur Chunk + 1x Obsidian Sandpaper per 1x Charged Sand.

• Gather Sulfur Chunks all over Brimstone.
• 50x Sulfur Chunks per gem, 250x per gear-set (you cannot slot Runeglass Gems into jewellery, only armour)
